Digital anamnesis

Start every aesthetic visit with a fresh, patient-completed anamnesis

Why the workflow matters

A current visit deserves a current questionnaire

Aesthetic history and contraindication information can change between visits. A visit-specific workflow helps the practice request a fresh response while retaining a clear link to the patient and treating practitioner.

How it works

Check in, complete, review and continue

The patient and doctor may use different mobile platforms; the workflow is tied to the account and visit rather than one ecosystem.

  1. Doctor checks in the patient

Scan the rotating patient QR code or use the supported manual email-and-PIN path.

  2. Patient receives the questionnaire

The app presents the visit-specific anamnesis in the patient's authenticated experience.

  3. Patient completes and signs

The patient reviews the questions, provides the requested answers and signs the submitted form.

  4. Doctor reviews the result

The practitioner checks the completed record before proceeding with the treatment workflow.

Capabilities in context

A connected pre-treatment workflow

QR or manual check-in

Use a rotating QR code or the supported email-and-PIN alternative when scanning is not practical.

Visit-specific form

A new questionnaire is associated with the current check-in instead of silently reusing an old response.

Patient signature

The patient completes and signs the form from their authenticated mobile session.

Doctor visibility

The doctor can see whether the required anamnesis is complete before documenting the treatment.

Clear boundaries

A form does not replace clinical assessment

Digital anamnesis supports information collection. The practitioner remains responsible for reviewing the responses and deciding whether treatment is appropriate.

  • Questions and consent language must be reviewed for the practice's services and jurisdiction.
  • A completed form does not guarantee that every clinically relevant fact has been disclosed.
  • The practitioner must address unclear, incomplete or conflicting answers before treatment.

FAQ

Questions about digital anamnesis

Does the patient need the same phone platform as the doctor?

No. Doctor and patient accounts can use iOS or Android independently because the visit is connected through the shared backend workflow.

Is a new anamnesis created for every check-in?

The current workflow is designed around a visit-specific form created for the patient's check-in.

What if QR scanning is unavailable?

The doctor can use the supported manual check-in path with the patient's email address and six-digit PIN.

Does the form replace the doctor's assessment?

No. The doctor must review the answers, clarify concerns and apply professional judgment before treating.
