How a treatment reaches the patient passport
Check-in, anamnesis, documentation and later sharing are distinct steps so a patient does not have to publish a permanent link to their health information.

Connect at the visit
The clinic can check in a patient by scanning the patient’s rotating check-in QR code or by using the patient’s email address and six-digit PIN.

Complete the anamnesis
The check-in opens a fresh anamnesis questionnaire for the patient to complete and sign for that visit.

The practitioner records the product, lot number, treatment zones, units and any optional before or after photos.

The patient can generate a passport link and QR code that remains reusable for up to 24 hours. Anyone who possesses the bearer link during that period can open the available passport view, so it should be shared only with the intended recipient.

- A recipient must not rely on an expired link, and the patient controls whether and when a new link is created.

Questions about the digital treatment passport
How long does a passport link remain active?
A newly generated treatment-passport link is reusable until it expires after 24 hours. The current mobile flow does not provide a single-use or early-revocation control, so the link should be shared only with its intended recipient.
Are the check-in QR code and passport QR code the same?
No. The patient’s rotating check-in QR code is used for clinic check-in and anamnesis. The passport QR code is created by the patient to share a time-limited view of documented treatment history.
Can a clinic check in a patient without scanning a QR code?
Yes. The manual check-in path uses the patient’s email address and a six-digit PIN.
Does the passport replace the clinic’s own medical record?
No. It supports continuity by presenting patient-linked treatment information, but each clinic remains responsible for its own clinical assessment and recordkeeping obligations.
