What the authors found#

CaHA showed greater type III collagen staining at four months and greater type I staining at nine months than the studied HA comparator.[1]

Why it is interesting#

The sequence is consistent with matrix remodeling in the sampled tissue.

Biological activity is an evidence layer, not a substitute for clinical outcomes.

What it cannot tell us#

  • Small, narrow population and postauricular biopsy sites.
  • Histological markers cannot establish superior visible outcomes or safety across facial indications.
